🌌 Evening top 10, and a polka dot jersey! 🇷🇴 Tomáš found his TT legs yesterday afternoon on Stage 1b of the Sibiu Cycling Tour, scoring a top 10 and locking down the Youth jersey! The whole team did well, with all of us arriving within 30 seconds of each other. 🇷🇴 Sibiu ahead 🐻 Four brutal days of racing, through five stages, in a really strong field 👊 Starting tomorrow with a double day: a road stage in the morning and a short time trial in the evening. Then, two stages with mountain-top finishes, and the closure with a hilly loop near Sibiu. We are ready (to climb) 🫡 – Holnaptól a Szebeni Körversenyen (Sibiu Cycling Tour) láthattok minket! After Slovenia, I felt quite exhausted and was a bit worried about it. During the first few laps, the feeling certainly wasn’t great. The plan was to send Drakos into the breakaway while I stayed in the group to save my legs for the finish. Drakos got caught by a small group on the last lap, and then, leading up to the final climb, we launched a few attacks to test our opponents. On the last climb, I went full gas on the steep section and dropped everyone. In the end, I did a 15km solo effort and won with a gap of almost one minute. Now I’m going to rest a bit. It has been a really busy season so far, with a lot of travel and successful races. I need to reset a little to keep this good season going. For my rest, I’m heading to the beach to do some swimming and snorkeling! 🤿 Haha. János RR: Biztos, hogy nem én vettem a legkomolyabban a csapatból az OB-t, sőt talán a legkevésbé. Úgy érzem, sokan itthon talán túlságosan is rágörcsölnek erre a versenyre. Lehet úgy fogalmazni, hogy jókor voltam jó helyen, de ez így is volt megbeszélve a rajt előtt. Teljesítettem a feladatomat az elején, aztán a mezőny úgy gondolta, hogy ez a szökés jó neki, úgyhogy hazaértünk. A végén már csak a második helyért ment a küzdelem. Nem gondoltam volna, hogy a többiek ennyire megrogynak, és Bálint után én érkezem meg a legjobban, de ez a forgatókönyv valósult meg. Én a saját tempómat mentem előtte, és nem is igazán mentem all-out sehol. Szóval a riválisok jobban megzuhantak, így magam is meglepődtem, hogy harmadik tudtam lenni, de nagyon örültem neki. A tavalyihoz képest idén jobban alakult a csapatnak a vasárnap, bár ott azért balszerencsések is voltunk, amikor például Bálintot kiküllőzték. Jól működtünk együtt, de ugyebár én szinte csak Pakot Andrist és Kardos Csongort láttam, mert ők voltak velem a szökésben a legelején. Andris viszonylag korán leszakadt, utána pedig Csongor kapott defekte
