Dear Everyone, Friends of TUS!
Thank you all so much for the many encouraging messages and support this year, both online and from the roadside! It’s already clear that 2026 will be our most successful season yet (out of the two so far).
A big thank you to everyone: the riders, the staff, and the helpers!
I would like to briefly summarize the future plans for Team United Shipping in a few points to prevent speculation and ensure everyone hears the news first-hand. Let’s take a look:
Women’s Team
In 2027, the TUS women’s team will launch. According to our plans, 6-8 riders will form the squad, with a Hungarian majority alongside a few international riders. Our goal is to have a higher-ranked professional women’s team by 2028–2029. We’re also adding a unique touch to the project: not only the riders, but all staff members will be women—making this the very first professional team in the world with a 100% female setup.
Junior TUS
In 2027, our junior team will also launch its inaugural year with 6–8 talented young Hungarian riders, under the supervision of Zsolt Búr.
Amateur Team
It’s here to stay for next year as well! More than 100 enthusiastic Amateurs by Team United Shipping (ATUS) members will continue to train hard and race, regardless of age or gender. A huge congratulations to them!
TUS 2027
Our men’s elite team will continue next year, mostly with the current roster. It is a point of immense pride that Nikiforos gets an opportunity as stagiare with the Astana WorldTour team, making him our third rider elevated to the highest level in just two years, following Bálint and Mihajlo.
TUS 2028
…and that bigger vision is none other than: in 2028, we will apply for a ProTeam license rather than Continental Team status, stepping up to a higher level with all its benefits. According to our plans, even at the ProTeam level, the majority of the squad (which will consist of at least 20 riders) will be Hungarian.
As you can see, you’ll be spotting four different TUS jerseys next year. Of course, this is just an illustration for now, but we’ll share the actual designs soon!
Beyond all this, we’re active on several other fronts: for instance, we’re planning a large community space with a bike repair shop in Törökbálint at the TUS headquarters, as well as a TUS café and bike hub in Etyek – plus so many other plans…
