Bálint Feldhoffer and Mihajlo Stolić are continuing their careers as members of the Bahrain Victorious development team, but their debut has taken an extraordinary turn. Between January 23rd and 25th in Spain, they will compete in the Classica Camp de Morvedre, GP Castellon, and Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969—stepping straight into the World Tour lineup for their first races.
Zoltán Kummer, owner of Team United Shipping, shared his thoughts on the news:
“It’s a bold headline, but it’s true. We’ve said it many times, but this is really why we started the United Shipping project: to give opportunities to young Hungarian riders. However, even we didn’t expect that Bálint Feldhoffer and Mihajlo Stolić would get a chance with the World Tour team so quickly, in their very first races.”
For the team, this step up validates the work done and the very purpose of the project.
“We are incredibly proud of them, and this news—that they can be in Bahrain’s WT lineup—gives us huge motivation to continue. It has now been proven that, thanks also to the United Shipping team, the opportunity is there; you really just have to want it, because everything is achievable.”
Zoltán Kummer emphasized that this success is a shared achievement with the riders’ previous clubs and mentors:
“Our dream was to bring riders, specifically talented Hungarian youngsters, into the World Tour, and we succeeded in our very first year. This is a source of immense pride for us. Of course, we received an almost ‘finished’ Bálint, so a huge thank you to his family and his youth coaches for helping him become the cyclist he is today.”
With this milestone, Team United Shipping has officially realized its founding mission:
“Today is a great day; we can say that alongside Attila Valter, we have another Hungarian World Tour rider! We’ve talked about this many times before—that this is exactly why Team United Shipping started, why we got into this whole thing. I am sure that Bálint will hold his own among the best.”
